استشهد زوجها وطفليها الإثنين بسبب إستهدافهم بقذيفة هاون أثناء محاولتهم النزوح عن مدينة حمص , كما أدى ذلك إلى إصابتها بشكل بالغ, مما استدعى لنقلها إلى مشفى طرابلس بلبنان حيث تم بتر كلا ساقيها.
